Briarcliff Pharmacy & Hallmark Gold Crown

If I could give this place zero stars I would ! I was told to use this pharmacy as a patient at Emory University ortho and spine this pharmacy is the most judgmental backwards place I have ever dealt with . they Didn't have the prescription in stock so when I called to find out how much it was once it came in stock he wouldn't give me a cost until he asked the doctor if it was a necessary drug. Then proceeded to tell me they're gonna add a surcharge or you have to pay cash . I have excellent pharmaceutical coverage when I asked how much the pharmacy would charge me he said it be as much as $500 depends on how bad I need the medicine and what the doctor ordered it for. He also told me he didn't understand why it was necessary that I had such a strong prescription - you had no right to ask

Overall very annoyed. Never got a call saying they had to order my script so I had to wait over the weekend to get it, only to not get confirmation it was in. I come in and seem to be the root cause of the lady techs pissy attitude for needing what my doctor prescribed. Script was called in the previous Wednesday, and the doctor told me insurance covered it, but somehow when I went to get it filled, I need prior authorization. So not only does it seem they hate working there and everyone who comes in to get what they need, but they also don’t seem to know how to work their systems at all. She didn’t even know how to use her card reader, and that seemed to piss her off more. No thank you or have a nice day from anyone there.

I have transferred all my prescriptions here. The pharmacy staff has worked with me over the past six months to make what used to be a monthly torment requiring multiple calls and visits to one call (if that), and one visit. They deserve a shout-out, and I encourage people to give them a try.

This is the perfect pharmacy and gift shop combo. Friendly pharmacy staff, Rx quickly filled. The gift shop may be the best Hallmark store in which I've ever shopped. The selections include the newest in jewelry and scarves then a great choice of hand and body lotions not frequently seen. I saw figurine collectibles, puzzles, baby gifts, serving bowls, plates, flatware and then, if you like, free gift wrap. Oh, I almost forgot the card selection. However, I found more for myself than to give away. A trip from Stone Mountain is not too far for me to drive to get the kind, special service Briarcliff offers. Can't wait to start Christmas shopping here...maybe a one stop deal.

Was prescribed a narcotic by my doctor because of a procedure. This was the only pharmacy who treated me with compassion, respect and filled my prescription. I came in hysterically in pain and am so thankful they helped me instead of denying me because of the difficult and inconsolable state I was in.
