I'm not even sure that the vet does anything beyond taking the pets back in for a second then bringing them back out. My elderly cat had severe stomatitis, I had to bring her in twice and tell him that there was something wrong with her teeth before he would agree to look in her mouth and do an extraction. Then I brought her back a year later for bad breath and she was eventually diagnosed with diabetes. He never sent in a prescription for her insulin or reached out for follow up.

This vet Dr. Schlanger 100% takes a “everything is going to be fine” approach to pretty much every visit we’ve gone to with my cat. This time they weren’t breathing correctly yet all her vitals were completely fine?? Two days later we had to put her down due to fluid in her lungs causing heart failure, like how do you miss that??? Do not go here. I am devastated

Last week my cat was taken to Dr. Schlanger while I was out of town by my roomate. She hadn’t eaten in days, and her movement/energy was very lethargic. Dr. Schlanger told my roomate that our cat was most likely not eating due to separation anxiety, and said all of her vitals were fine. They took ALL her vitals. My cat was not breathing correctly… Two days later I’m home and taking her to a different animal hospital because this one was closed, and the vet their says her breathing is very irregular, and saw her before any other pets in the waiting room. Turns out she had fluid in her lungs that once removed didn’t even help, and her breathing worsened. She either had heart failure or an infection that was beyond helping. We sadly had to euthanize our cat, who was young and healthy up unti

This place sucks, find a different place if you want your animal to actually be taken care of. And without such a rude staff. They LITERALLY do not even let you go inside with your pet… crazy policies, terrible vet.

Dr. Schlanger neglected to inform me that my dog’s blood platelets were significantly low when we did her annual blood work with him last year in Spring of 2023. A year later, we did our annual blood work with him again, while also asking him to examine an unusual bulge in her abdomen. Once again, when the bloodwork came back her platelets were now appearing as dangerously low. The lab flagged the issue in the lab report but Dr. Schlanger reported to me that her blood work was all within the normal range. Thankfully, he shares the lab reports with patients so I took the time to go over it closely. When I noticed the lab’s note about her platelets, I reached out to Dr. Schlanger again. He indicated that there was a clot in her blood sample and that her platelets were probably fine (not cons
