Brent A. Felix, MD - Spine surgeon

This is not a review of Dr. Felix, as I have never met him. It is a review of his office staff and their processes I was referred to Dr. Felix by my pain specialist to be evaluated for spinal surgery. As is typical with most referrals, Dr. Felix's office then reached out to me to schedule an initial appointment. On the phone while scheduling that initial appointment, I verified that I would be going to the Salt Lake office, as well as verified the date and time. About a month later, I arrived for that initial appointment. Not only did they not have me on the schedule, they had absolutely no record of me at all. I am exactly 3 months out from TLIF surgery, I am so happy with the results. My first Appointment with Dr. Felix was outstanding. He was thorough, reviewed every option with me, and reviewed my past surgeries and my physical history with me. From the results I have experienced , Dr. Felix is a very skilled surgeon. Post surgery with PA-C Jeffrey Pulley has been nothing but the best. His people skills are outstanding, and he spends plenty of time with me each appointment to ensure he explains things thoroughly, and answers all my questions. I had some complications within the first three weeks after the surgery, and my wife called Jeff three or four times in the middle of the night to get the help I needed. Dr Felix and Mark Waters are amazing. I had a spine fusion surgery done with them and I am feeling so much better than before. I was nervous to have surgery but I’m so glad I moved forward with it. 6-Month Follow Up Note - Admin team hasn’t even reached out to me to schedule some injections even though my appointment with the Dr was 3 weeks ago and my insurance approved them within the first week. I have trust in the operational team but not the admin/scheduling team.

I am Dr. Felix and his Staff’s biggest fan. I was not excited when I found out I needed back surgery. I was concerned that my back would never feel good again and would trouble me for the rest of my life. But having tried everything else without good results the only option left was surgery. Well Dr. Felix did a fantastic job and my back and sciatic feel better than they have for years. Dr. Felix, Jeff and Toni were great and answered all my questions and provided me with great care. I can’t thank them enough and I can’t wait for warm weather so I can get back on the golf course.

Back surgery is always a little scary, but I am so happy with Dr Felix he is kind, he listen’s to all your concerns he’s great. Dr Felix PA Mark Water’s he is great,he takes his time and talks to you and also if theirs any concerns you feel like you need addressed he is happy to do so and explain everything.. Their whole staff their the nurses, the receptionist everyone is just great. I highly recommend seeing Dr Felix and Dr Mark Water’s.. If you have to have surgery it’s best to have the best and they are the best! Thank you Shelly Jensen
