Took 2 of our cats one male, one female, to the Freeport location. He still has his ball sacks, they are empty but still very much there. Thats okay I mean at least he doesn't have the filling cause our female hasn't gotten pregnant.. But our poor girl she got the worst infection from this place because her incision was NOT SOWN CLOSED PROPERLY. I know its low cost but she almost died from the 3 inch abscess that setup under her skin and we did everything we were told to do. We took her to the vet a month later cause she was being weird, and they found the open gap in her stomach by the little tattoo. It had begun eating through her skin and she is not a touch my belly type cat, so if she hadn't started acting weird we wouldn't have known anything until it was too late. My daughter would'v

This SPCA in Freeport Tx is an absolute Godsend to our community. They offer low cost services and will help guide you to other services available to our pets and strays that might be needed. As always they’re busy busy busy because the need in my county area is rife with feral cats and abandoned dogs - it’s very sad and they have a very difficult and emotionally stressful job. But they love all animals and rely on community support to keep these clinics open so please donate and shop their thrift stores. We love the SPCA!
We take all of our pets here for low cost vaccinations, and spay & neuter. The entire staff is great. The really care about all animals. Every one must spay and neuter their pets. We need to stop seeing starving, homeless animals. All these beautiful animals - are God's creatures, We must to help them.
We’ve had two heartbreaking experiences with this SPCA’s spay/neuter program. Our own cat passed away during a routine neutering and now a friend’s cat has died the same way. It’s devastating and beyond coincidence at this point. I understand that complications can happen in any surgery, but this pattern shows a serious lack of oversight or care. We trusted this organization to provide safe, compassionate care, and instead we’ve lost beloved pets. I truly hope management investigates what’s happening with their surgical protocols and post-op monitoring before more families have to experience this kind of loss. Our community deserves transparency and accountability.
