Branch Health Clinic Indian Head

I’ve been to this clinic 3 times within the last 3 months. Always a good experience. The only thing is be sure to be on time for your appointment once your 10 min grace period has past, your likely not to be seen for your appointment and will need to reschedule.

This clinic is tiny, with only two doctors to handle over FOURTEEN HUNDRED patients. The staff is rude, and it takes weeks to get an appointment. It has minimal services, so there is no point in going here. The staff sends you to the emergency room in most cases, which is double the cost of an off-post PCM. This place closes at 1600, and their telehealth is limited, and it takes days for a response. If you are forced to go here because of the Tricare 30-minute rule, beg and plead to let Tricare continue to let you off-post. This clinic does not understand the needs of retired military members but is a military clinic....odd. If you are a professional in DC, this location can take up to 2 hours to get to, so expect to take a whole day off work.
