Bountiful Animal Hospital

After calling around to several places I decided to go with Bountiful Animal Hospital and I am so glad I did! Dr. Kevin treated both my cats for ear mites (with the help of his assistant, Star) and he was so sweet and gentle with my fur babies. He answered every question I had and gave me all the information I needed to leave feeling satisfied and confident that my girls would be okay. The staff here are friendly and I was genuinely shocked with how much I DIDN’T have to spend to care for my kitties. I am very happy with the overall experience here! I am extremely disappointed with the experience my family had at this clinic recently. My mother brought my dog in while I was at work for his routine monthly arthritis injection, which typically costs around $75. Instead, he was administered the wrong medication, and the clinic then attempted to charge us nearly $200 for that medication. What was most upsetting was not just the medication error, but the way it was handled. There was no apology, and the person who administered the injection laughed it off and acted as though it was not a big deal. A manager did not come to speak with my mother, nor did a veterinarian come out to explain potential side effects, interactions, or what we should monitor for after receiving an unintended medication. We were very satisfied with the care we received at Bountiful Animal Hospital. Dr. Salah was very thorough and took the time to personally give us detailed instructions about how best to care for our cat, Dora. You can be assured that you that your pet will be in good hands with him. Everyone in the office was very patient, helpful and kind.

Excellent care! I would give 10 stars if I could. Doc and staff are so caring and supportive. Clinic is clean, prices are good, appointments are on time. The Vet is very good with cats, gentle and compassionate. So glad we took our pet here!

While the staff is incredibly friendly, the service has been questionable. As a new client last year, they asked me to email them the medical records of my cats. They gave me the wrong email, and there was no follow up on that. So when I took them in this year for their vaccines, they had no records, not even from the previous time I took them in. It also took them four tries - needle fully injected each time - to get help administering the vaccine. At the fifth try, they got it. This is a young kitten by the way, and a pretty hefty needle. It also took two tries - needle fully injected - to vaccinate my second cat. It seemed evident that this vet tech was still learning or worked mostly with dogs. I am all for learning and teaching, however, at some point, it’s irresponsible to continue p
