The combination of her training as a reiki practitioner, yoga and pilates teacher, along with her doctorate degree in physical therapy make her an extremely well-rounded, highly educated physical therapist. Marissa is an incredibly intuitive body healer. She draws from a mind/body/spirit approach to address issues at their core, and utilizes many different approaches. My session with her included a gentle exam, several techniques to reintroduce balance and alignment, and exercises & stretches to reinforce the structural changes.
