At the front desk I was greeted very well. It all went downhill after that, unfortunately. I went in for a MRI of my foot. The technician had me lay on the exam table. I have fibromyaliga so I'm always in pain and when I did lay down, I was in so much pain I asked if he had anything to help. He gave me 2 thin pads that helped about as much as a piece of paper. He said it would take about 40 minutes. It was close to an hour. When I was finished, I asked him for a hand to help me up. He looked at me like I had two heads. He said how? I held my hand up to show him how. He finally took it and helped me up. I then was in so much pain again that I had to sit for a little while to let my spine and back adjust. He said to me, That if I just put my feet on the floor it would be better. There

My primary care doctor referred me to Blue Rock Medical for varicose vein treatment. At my first visit, they did ultrasounds to confirm and go over treatment of my varicose veins in both of my legs. I then scheduled two separate appointments to address each leg. My left leg was treated by Dr Andrew Gibby. He did an excellent job performing the procedure. He informed me he would be out of town the following week so the procedure would be performed by his father, Dr Wendell Gibby. My experience with the procedure on my right leg was a nightmare! First off, my IV wasn’t placed correctly. This made it so the sedative was not working on me as well as the previous week. I needed to go over an xray with Dr. Gibby because I have a question and since in the past they were great to go over the pictures with me, which they both had done in the past with my own pictures (I felt really cared), I thought he would be happy to clarify somethings for me. However he was unavailable and had left the office early that day (anniversary or something). The office manager promised she would get back to me the next day, and we would try to get a time for me to go over the xray in person (set a time for it). A week and one day has gone by and I never got back. I called today and the office manager was "too busy" to talk to me, so she let the young office receptionist get the call. I had a deeply frustrating experience at Blue Rock Medical during my annual checkup with their medical team. What should have been a routine visit quickly became a series of mishaps that left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the level of care provided. First and foremost, it took an unacceptable 11 weeks and 5 days to receive my standard bloodwork results, despite multiple attempts to follow up over the phone. This is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for something as routine and important as blood test results, and the lack of communication only added to my frustration. On top of this, I specifically requested that Vitamin D be included in my blood tests, yet this analysis was completely omitted.
