Blue Ridge Pediatric

I have always brought my girls to BRP’s and have never had a bad experience. I brought my two youngest now that they have changed computer systems for checking in. Explained to them that I was unable to check-in one of them and they were very nice and understanding. Checked in my other child and waited for appointment. We saw Dr. Olivia Dhaliwal (resident) and was very warm and welcoming to my girls. My 2 yo is very shy with strangers and she was patient with her. Dr. Pearson came in afterwards and is ALWAYS so nice. Gets on the girls levels and listens to their silliness. :) She is one of our favorite pediatricians. I recommend her to everyone.

Blue ridge peds are typically great Easy to get an appointment with. Dr. Lonas & Dr. Allie are the best. They are knowledgeable, patient and willing to listen to a parents needs and concerns. Almost every doctor in the facility is pretty good. Except Dr. Wesley St Claire STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS "DOCTOR". He is not friendly or helpful, he is a condescending rude older man. He is called the minute man. He will spend less than 7 minutes in the office with you, give you wrong diagnosis and leave you still needing medical attention for your child. He is obviously in it specifically for the money, he doesn't care about patient or their family. His bedside manner is very poor.

Was given the wrong day for my daughters 2 week newborn appointment. It was a day later than what they'd told me. came back the next day for the appointment and was told that for some reason they had cancelled the appointment, but told me that I could sit with my newborn in a room full of sick kids (the Linville office doesn't have a separate waiting area for sick kids, and the waiting area is very small) and wait until one of the doctors had some free time. Called the same day and found a new pediatrician.

The docs and nurses are great. The admin side is frustrating. We scheduled a late appointment for my daughter last night. An ear infection. The doc and I intentionally spoke and confirmed our pharmacy. They sent it to the wrong one. Again. The whole point of scheduling the appointment later in the day was to get the kiddo medicine last night. By sending the RX to a pharmacy that was already closed, that whole effort was pointless. We all make mistakes, though. Lastly, we called this morning to ask where exactly our RX was sent to. Do you think the staff were apologetic? Of course not! In fact, they were annoyed! This is what is inexcusable. You don't get to be annoyed when you've screwed up. You guys really have to do better here.

We have always had great care with both our children from annual,newborn and sick visits. Never had any issue being seen the same day when we needed a sick visit.
