Blue Ridge Eye Associates

I received my eye exam here and purchased glasses here a year ago. I had a good experience. Today, I went to get another pair but my prescription had expired by 4 days. I was told I would have to get another eye exam. Most doctors write prescription for 2 years. Keep that in mind when choosing them. Disappointed customer.

I have been seeing Dr. Cowger for the better part of 10 years, and have referred numerous patients to her for eye exams. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and also works closely with our area Ophthalmologists for those patients who require more complex eye care. This last point is a significant one, as she is easily able to facilitate referrals to MD providers when appropriate. Our entire family now uses Blue Ridge Eye Associates and have been EXTREMELY pleased with the level of care we have received through the years. One also cannot say enough about her amazing office manager Wally, who is a huge source of knowledge when it comes to frames, the actual composition of the optics that are used in the glasses they provide, and A+ with frame fittings and repairs. I highly recommend!

From the time Wally answered the phone to the time I left the office after my visit, my experience was incredible. They were so friendly and so helpful during the entire process. They explained every step of the process and adjusted everything over and over so that I got the perfect prescription for my eyes. They even helped me pick out the perfect glasses for my face (taking into account the shape of my face, the kinds of clothes I wear and the color of my skin which was amazing). My glasses were ready that day and when they sent me a text to let me know, they also wished me luck on the test I had mentioned I was taking that morning. They are good people doing a phenomenal job with their practice. I would recommend them to anybody!

I have been going to Dr.Cowger for many years. She is very knowledgeable and does a very comprehensive eye exam. I wear glasses and contact lenses. She is my favorite doctor; and I highly recommend her. Wally is always cheerful and does an excellent job with frame fitting and keeping the office running. If you want the very best for your eye care, look no further. Dr.Cowger is the best!!

I haven't been but am leaving this review BECAUSE I called to make an appt for my 5 yr old and the DR who I needed to speak to wasn't in, so the person/Dr? I did speak to, Mr.Walie explained to me everything u needed to know and even took time out of his day and busy schedule called me back the next day to tell me who I should call next and if not then another Dr I should reach out to and how good they are. This person really went out of their just to make my time more easy and less hassle. I really do appreciate it. I have never received such good customer/patient service from any where like I did from this man. Literally made my day. THANX WALIE!!!!
