I spoke with Joan about possibly starting services and just in that first conversation I felt lighter. Soon after we matched with our therapist and started therapy, which my child LOVED and looked forward to. Joan has a special way with my highly sensitive kiddo! She joined us for snack time to help with “picky” eating and instantly was well loved by my 3 kids. Five months later and we are hearing my son ask “can I try that?” Dinners are no longer the worst time of day! While we are far from where we want to be, I feel comfortable with progress made - Joan has always been open and honest about how the process goes, so my expectations are managed.
