Bloemke Pharmacy, Limited

Bloemke pharmacy is staffed by wonderful people and has a wonderful home town style shopping section. Office supplies, letters, all sorts of decorations, and pharmacy supplies. The staff at the desk or in the pharmacy are knowledgeable and welcoming. By far the best pharmacy in the area and will forever be a favorite place for me.

I tried calling them several times before my surgery to set up medications. Line was busy or no one answered. So they called me in my hospital room while I was still very groggy from anesthesia. Asking me to make decisions about medications. Charged my credit card but did not put through my insurance first. They’re close and work side by side with the hospital so it was easy and they delivered to my room. Would have been great if not for the charges.

We recently moved to Anchorage, AK from Rowan, Iowa. Bloemke’s had been our pharmacy for years, and we certainly miss the warm, friendly, and efficient service that we ALWAYS received from them. We are currently dealing with a large, nationally known pharmacy here in Anchorage. We signed up with them about nine months ago, and since we made our final move here in very early August of 2018, we have had much to complain about. I’m not sure what they do with our records, but we’ve had to re-enter all of our information at least five or six times when picking up prescriptions, causing further delays...sometimes overnight. I miss the sincerity, concern, and EXCELLENT SERVICE that we received at BLOEMKE’S...and it’s not as tho’ they aren’t busy! They are just wise enough to keep enough kind,

Small town family owned pharmacy. The service is amazing. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and friendly.
