Block Island Medical Center

Glad I'm not on block island. They called me at 10:30 on a Tuesday night, accidently, "to return my call." It woke me up when I have to work early tomorrow. They had the wrong number. It was an honest mistake. When I said "I think you have the wrong number." They hung up. No apology. It would've taken literally 1 second to say sorry and not be rude.

Came in after a moped fall. It was my birthday and having the experience only added to my great day! While I was here one of the medical staff came in and started singing … 🎵 I heard it’s your birthday! My friend Robyn and I were so pleased with the attention and care that got. When the PA gave me stitches in my arm it was pretty painless. This place is awesome! The bump in photo was a hematoma that popped out on the side of my hip. It was the size of a softball!

My husband was treated here today. Despite being tucked away on a small island, the medical center on Block provided us great service. We didnt have an appointment but they managed to squeeze us in.We received friendly and competent care, especially from Sara the Nurse Practitioner.

Had a small but unusual issue while visiting the Block and went to the center on the weekend. Jenelle (hope I spelled that correctly) saw me Short story; she was awesome. Knew her stuff and was as nice as could be. Block Island is lucky to have her as a medical resource.

I have only visited this medical center once and they followed up on my visit today and I can not be more satisfied with my experience and I couldn't be any more impressed with the entire staff that I've had communication with. The receptionists are pleasant and personable, the medical assistants are thorough and respectful, and the doctors are knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Every staff member ensured my needs were met under all possible circumstances. The doctors were so patient with me in spite of me being worried and overwhelmed and thus not being able to provide clear, chronological information; and they explained everything to me which is exactly what I hope for with a medical process and diagnosis. I had a lot of possible diagnoses ruled out in a single visit which had me feeling
