My first visit to Dr. Martin more than exceeded my expectations. The office is conveniently located across from the Friendship Heights Metro Station and also has plenty of street parking nearby if you don't want to use the building's lot. Dr. Martin was personable, knowledgeable and thorough during my visit. I was particularly impressed that he did my teeth cleaning himself. Additionally, all the staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I 100% will be going back in 6 months!

Dr. Blake is phenomenal and the staff are so amazing and kind! I spent months searching for a dentist when I moved to DC and am so grateful a colleague recommended Blake Dental Group - they truly cares about you and your dental health.

I've never interacted with a more unprofessional dental office. Many of these five star reviews mention Dr. Martin, who is no longer with the practice. When Dr. Martin left, they didn't tell me until I was in the chair for my next appointment. They waited more than five months to send me a bill for a nightguard. When I questioned why it too so long to send me the bill, I was told that they were busy and didn't have a staff member dedicated to billing. When I eventually spoke to Dr. Blake about the bill, she said "if you don't want to pay it, find another dentist" and hung up the phone.

Do not recommend. Billing is so disorganized. I had a procedure done in November 2019 and wasn't billed for it until mid-pandemic 2020, at which point I had moved away and was no longer on the same insurance, so I wasn't receiving any of the paper mail bills AND the out of pocket cost of the procedure was hiked up higher than if they'd billed me right after the procedure. They never tried to reach out via email or phone and they dont have an online portal either, just kept sending paper bills with late notices during a global pandemic, until my old landlord noticed one stamped FINAL ACTION and forwarded on to me just now in March 2023 thank god. There are other dentists. Do yourself a favor and go to them instead. Or let your teeth rot. It would be preferable.

My husband, kids, mother and I have been going to Blake dental for many years. We have appreciated the kind, efficient and professional manner of each staff member and are grateful for Dr Blake’s excellent care.
