BJC Medical Group Convenient Care at Edwardsville

I took my daughter to convenient care for a school physical. The receptionist immediately asked about my daughter’s insurance and I shared with her that I will be paying out of pocket for the visit. She told me that even if I’m paying out of pocket, my daughter cannot have her school physical completed there if they do not accept her insurance. She asked what insurance she has and I told her. She says that they do not accept that insurance there and reiterated that although I would be paying for the visit out of pocket and not through insurance my daughter cannot be seen. I said okay and thanked her. She went on to talk about policy and how they’re working to change it or something along those lines. She then recommended I go to the Madison County Health Department (The sticky note that sh

nurse practitioner was awesome but these medical assistants need to reevaluate their bedside manners. verbally talked to in a way that reads "why did you even bring your kid here for this" another eye roll from this staff member I was going to ask if she found a better attitude floating around in their head

Great experience! I was able to fill out most of the information they needed online prior to my appointment. I was seen exactly at my appointment time. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I was never kept waiting for more than a few minutes when the staff left the room to run tests or check results. I will definitely return here in the future if the need arises.

If you cut yourself & need stitches, forget it. Don't waste your time. And if it's lunch time, even if you're bleeding, they dont care. They will tell you they can't see you, nobody available during lunch. Its supposed to be Urgent Care

Very convenient center for those quick visits in between your regular doctor. Appointments required and cut down the waiting time.
