Birmingham Urgent Care

I went to the Birmingham Urgent Care and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were super friendly and understanding. Dr. Kafri was kind and professional. I am thankful that I was able to be seen as a walk in. There was no wait when I arrived and was seen immediately. Dr. Kafri recommended a prescription that I was not used to taking but ended up being the best route to go. Overall I had a positive experience and I would not hesitate to return to the Birmingham Urgent Care if needed. Thank you!

From the parking to discharge, this has been an incredible experience. There was ample parking close to the entrance. The reception room and front desk are incredibly warm and inviting. Checking in was greeted with kindness and a friendly demeanor. The nursing staff was welcoming and thorough. Doctor Kafri has a great bedside manner and is clear and concise. Many doctors' offices I’ve been to have been met with arrogance and a condescending attitude. Not here!! I’ll be returning whenever I need urgent care. Thank you.

My husband and I have been going to this clinic for years. We actually moved from the area and drive to this urgent care because no other urgent care compares. The staff are always kind and welcoming, and Dr. Kafri is so knowledgeable and patient in explaining everything. The short wait time is a huge relief, but what means the most is feeling genuinely cared for.

Came in for a simple upper respiratory issue that prevented me from working that day in the field of aviation. They wouldn’t sign a simple form for work, then directed me to another health provider, that was closed that day. Update: Received a call next day explaining their misunderstanding. A classy move for a rare lapse in quality care from this office.

I visited this clinic for a skin rash. The doctor diagnosed it as poison ivy and prescribed oral steroids and steroid cream. After several days, my symptoms did not improve and the rash kept spreading. I returned for a follow-up, and the doctor then told me it was not poison ivy after all. This misdiagnosis not only delayed the correct treatment but also exposed me to unnecessary steroids. I felt disappointed that the initial diagnosis was made without more thorough testing or considering other possible causes. Accuracy in diagnosis is critical, and I hope more care will be taken with future patients.
