Bioreference Laboratories

The phlebotomist at this lab is incredible! If you have an infant that needs a blood draw, go to this lab. Unfortunately, we needed to get several blood draws for our baby since she was born and other labs either turned us away or failed to draw blood on the first attempt, leading to lots of screaming and crying. The phlebotomist here was successful on the first try and my daughter didn’t even shed a tear. So grateful to have found this facility.

I had an appointment for 4 PM. However, two walk-ins were able to get service before me. How do I know because the sign in sheet which is in the sitting area states that. That’s HIPAA-protected information, and it should not be in a sitting area . After waiting for half an hour, the phlebotomist, then takes a look at my order and state that they can’t accept it. It has to be faxed, which is not what I was advised. Also, either have extra time to spare or inquire about how your appointment goes since they don’t honor their appointment times yet they allow walk-ins to go ahead of people with appointments.
