I am a bit disappointed that BioLife will not honor the original “new donor” bonus/ payment structure that I specifically chose during my first donation. I was really excited to donate and earn some extra, much needed cash, as well as help patients. During my second donation I was deferred for 8 weeks due to whole blood loss as a result of phlebotomist error when doing 2 different blood draws in both arms. Once the error was realized, the phlebotomist tried to draw blood in another vein in my right arm and failed to draw/return my blood in the vein as well. I also suffered from hematoma/bruising in the second arm. I understand errors happen but I believe that Biolife should honor the original payment/bonus structure that I selected during my first donation before I was deferred for 8we

Nice staff. Long waits. Understaffed. Takes me 30 minutes to actually donate but long lines ends up taking me 2 hours. Too long after a full day's work. Not realistic or sustainable. Appointment scheduling is done online, and they obviously allow way too mang people to book appointments. Inconsiderate and frustrating.

The phlebotomists here are wonderful. Lisa, the nurse, was beyond exceptional. Overall the staff themselves are kind and quick to answer questions, I walked in nervous for my first appointment and was met with a lot of kindness. But the waiting is overwhelmingly bad. I have never waited for so long anywhere as much as I do at BioLife. There are staff, but it's very slow-paced and there's commonly a lack of order. I enjoy donating, but the wait times and the speed of the staff can make the experience disappointing.

This was my first time donating plasma at Biolife and I was very impressed with the staff, cleanliness of the facility, speed of visit and value paid for my time and donation. I would like to highlight four staff members that made my first time enjoyable, Nurse Lisa, Technicians Areen, Phil & Rodger. Kudos to these team members as well the leadership staff at Biolife East Madison.

Well they could do so much better. At first everything was good but later I had to retake the SPE test once again and I was okay no problem so they took it, just for them to lose the sample and get my appointment cancel exactly when I arrive to the center to donate and just for my next appointment to again get cancel and take a third SPE test in a month. I don’t like how they be like oh we will email or call you, but don’t do it. What is worst is that I been trying to call them to check for my results and no one answers not even once doesn’t matter the day. The best part is that your promotion as a first donor doesn’t get extended due to their fault losing the second sample they took from me. I would have really appreciated if they could answer their phone or give me a call back after me l
