Bilingual Speech-Language and Swallowing Therapy

I had a terrible experience at this facility. It took three months, with constant follow ups, to start the sessions. After two months of treatment, and rendering agreed upon copayment, the office decided to bill us retroactively for additional service with incremental copayments. This was not disclosed to us prior to treatment. The office found it justifiable to bill for three services in a 30 minute session, one of which lasted 5 minutes. To add to this after 6 sessions, I have not seen progress in my son's speech. What originally was presented as a 3 month treatment at evaluation was later described as a 9 to12 months treatment. Mind you 3 months was w/in insurance allowable sessions. I found this office's practices to be unethical.

I'm not one to give references, but this time I do in case there is a mother looking for help for her child with speech problems. My son is 5 years old and I, like his mother, barely understood him; when he spoke he only made sounds but did not articulate understandable words or phrases. For me it was frustrating and it caused me a lot of fear of leaving him without my care since no one understood him, in the park, at school no child wanted to play with him because they didn't understand what he said. And just maybe 3 months ago he started taking therapy here and the change has been impressive 🤩. I am so happy to have found this center, my child loves to go (when I tell him that we go where Sofía goes, he is super happy) although all the therapists are great. My son did not speak clearly a

My 8 year old son just recently started Speech Therapy and he says his therapist Ailyn is really friendly, kind and patient with him during his visits and that he feels very comfortable with her. Dr. Nathalia Fonseca has been very helpful in assisting us through this process, so I’m happy with what my son and I have experienced until now. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fonseca’s office to any parent looking for a speech therapist for their kid(s).

Our experience at Bilingual Speech-Language and Swallowing Therapy is delightful. The services she receives and the outcome on how quickly she started talking was beyond my expectation. Dad and I are so very grateful for how well our daughter is thriving. She is currently still receiving services and I will miss everyone once she has completed her therapies.

My son has just started going to Bilingual Speech-Language and Swallowing Therapy, from the front desk receptionist to the speech pathologist they are all a wonderful team. I enjoy the fact I’m informed of everything that happened on my son sessions and how structure will be for him moving forward. I’m so glad I was able to find him a speech pathologist in person so he can continue to reach his goals and I know with Dr.Fonseca and the team he’s in the greatest hands!
