BHC NAVSTA Norfolk

The "sickcall" line is an issue continuously. There is only 1 person talking to everyone there, they dont fill out the papers/forms until they are talking to them. At the counter are 3 people on computers, the other 2 are there for "appointments only" and cant be bothered to help the 1 person overwhelmed. They dont start calling people until theyve been "open" for about 40 minutes. The set up is super inefficient and doesn't make any logical sense compared to other sickcalls I've been to. You're looking at a 4 hour wait, at least, for sick call even if youre the first person in line. Appointment based items are fine and I havent had any issues.

Horrible staff and wait times. Cant ever get anyone on the phone and when you do they just transfer you around till you stuck in an endless loops. When trying to make a complaint they tell you to submit it through ice. Ice complaints were the only way i was able to get an appointment. They then say that if you think you need to be seen sooner, go to the ER or sick call.

Waited over an 1.5 hrs to get a single vaccine, never got it because I had to go back to work. I can’t ever get seen by my pcm and they won’t refer folks out in town despite tricare policy saying if they can’t see they’re supposed to.

I went in for radiology/ultrasounds & Michelle was amazing! I waited probably 5 minutes and was in and out in 15. She made me feel really comfortable for my scans.

Never had suicidal thoughts until dealing with all the staff at sewells point. Awful. PCM is never available. Every single department at this clinic can’t help or give solution to problems.
