Bettis Family Dentistry

I’ve been to many dentists in bristol and have had very many bad experiences. The last dentist that I had a negative experience with, I decided I was going to heavily read reviews before deciding where to go next. After looking at the reviews, I decided bettis would be the place for me to try. I know the reviews are mixed, but I’ve been going to this dentist for ~3 years now and I feel confident in recommending them to others. I’ve dealt with unkind employees at other dentists, whereas the people are all so friendly at bettis. I’ve been seeing the same lady the last 3/4 times, I wish I could remember her name right now but she’s so joyful to talk to. Very promptly taken care of. Love the hygienist, she is knowledgeable, professional and pain free. Dr Bettis is the best dentist 🦷 I have ever been to , and at my age that is a lot. I have been treated by her for at least the last 35 + years. She takes excellent care of me. At 75 I still have all my own teeth. Love this office. They all make sure you are comfortable and take extra care if you need anything.

I took my children to Bettis Family Dentistry for the first time and the staff was amazing! One of my children has anxiety and the hygienist and doctor were so patient and helped keep my child calm and comfortable throughout the cleaning. I'm so happy with the entire experience and absolutely recommend this office to others.

PARENTS BEWARE — ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE MEDICAID AND DON’T SEE ITEMIZED BILLS I have been taking my girls to this office for about two years. Like many pediatric dental practices, they don’t allow parents back in the room, which I can understand. However, parents should absolutely be told what procedures are being done to their children. That did not happen here. My daughter previously had a tooth removed by another dentist. When I took her here, I believed she was getting a simple filling. Instead, she came out with a bridge — and two of her permanent adult teeth had been filed down to fit it. No one told me this beforehand. A few month later, the bridge fell off. I brought her back and told them to leave it off (I did not yet know the adult teeth had been filed down). That’s when the d

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! Just facts … and a few opinions/suggestions! Prior to committing to Bettis Family Dentistry (BFD) for routine hygiene, etc., I read google reviews. I noted there were some negative reviews, particularly regarding insurance issues. I spoke to Lindsay, the administrative assistant, about my concerns, shared my insurance information, and asked if she anticipated any issues. She confirmed that both my insurance companies identify BFD as a preferred provider, and suggested there wouldn’t be any issues. During a hygiene appointment, and after x-rays, the dentist, Victoria, identified an issue requiring a crown.
