Wouldn't leave a star if i could. Called Dr.Ermish office because i have a broken tooth, was looking for an emergent appointment to try and get it repaired. I had been a patient of Dr. Ermish years ago. She was always pleasant. Her receptionist now, is a real piece of work. I was told, they only had emergent appointments for their "current" patients. "New" patient appointments are scheduled out til April. I politely let her know that my dentist is completely booked and can't get me in. I was just wondering if she had an opening to fix my tooth. I simply called to inquire about insurance that this dental office accepts and was treated very poorly by the receptionist who works for Dr. Nathaniel Cook. I asked what type of insurance do they accept? And was told that they don't accept insurance. She then told me that they accept insurance but the patients are responsible for the co-pay, which confused me because she initially told me they don't accept Insurance. I told her if they do accept insurance that there wouldn't be any co-pay my insurance would cover the entire cost. I then asked if she would clarify the insurance question?. Dr. Ermish might have the rudest secretary ever. I called to schedule an appointment and I was overdue for a trip to the dentist. I was a patient with them in the past so I figured I would go back. She explained she was booked until the following month, but I asked her to schedule anyways. She asks for my insurance information and me being dumb gives her my medical insurance information. She basically laughed at me for this and and explained it was the wrong insurance. I was like okay well I have dental insurance, do you have it on file from the last time I was there? Dr. Flook and his staff are very accommodating. I have not only received notifications via phone calls but also mail in the form of postcards to remind me of upcoming appointments. His staff are kind, considerate, smile and greet my family whenever we visit. We enjoy each appointment knowing that not only will their service be top notch, but also be treated like a human being. I have visited other dental offices before... many receptionist do not even acknowledge the people in the waiting room (no, they were not on the phone when I came into the office). It seemed like it was a burden for them to be at work. All the staff and Dr. Flook have been extremely nice to me and my family... ALL the time!

My husband, sons and myself have been patients of Dr. Carlin for 24 years. I cannot express how wonderful this doctor and his staff are. We have had exceptional dental care all of these years through kids emergency dentistry from sports related accidents to my extensive dental care. I have had dental problems and the related anxiety since I was a child. Dr. Carlin has always been patient and kind...did I mention patient... We are so lucky to have this dentist and his staff in our little town.
