Inconsistent with the supposed 2 showers per week. Food using the very cheapest ingredients, no fresh fruit or vegetables. One man allowed to scream and curse in the dining room, making all other patients uncomfortable and leaving their food to get out of there. Call button rarely answered, and, if answered, takes 15 to 30 min. Very poor hygiene practiced. One plastic cup per patient to be used throughout their stay and NEVER washed. All linens are threadbare and in short supply. No shelf in bathroom so supplies just sit on floor around the toilet, i.e., pull-ups, wipes, lotion. Might have contributed to UTI contracted while there? Communication very difficult. Most employees speak English as second language. Some we understood a little. Others not a word. Below is my original post. While my father was still in Berkeley manor. They then harassed my mother to get me to remove it. I did but only till my father left so they wouldn't retaliate on him in some inhumane way. Also updated, bare bare thin sheets, a piece of cheese on bread?? Never a vegetable. They didn't expect us to be there watching everyone. This owner must be raking in the insurance money. What a fraudster. I'm sure he sleeps just fine at night. Run. Run away fast! My wife has been at your facility for wound care for her lower legs since September. Some of the staff are very rude and seem to be at times put out. The place has mice running around in her room. The wall under the sink has water damage and has not been attended to. I myself from visiting her there have contracted a bodily bed bug infestation and will have to have surgery to get rid of it. I plan on taking legal action.

i’m very happy with how much they take care and appreciate my loved one. they are so kind, respectful, and hospitable about everything, i will definitely be telling others about this nursing home.

I usually don’t post reviews unless I’m very happy or very disappointed with an experience. With saying that…. EVERYONE at Berkeley Manor is soooo pleasant! Everyone always says hi and always says hi to the resident that I visit. Such a pleasant environment. ❤️
