Berea Health and Rehab

Our mother was sent to Berea after a nasty fall at home to work with medical professionals to regain her strength. The facility is clean, patients well cared for and actually looked after my caring and compassionate experts. The meals provided are well balanced and the facility is decorated in a way that is welcoming but demonstrates cleanliness. I’ve lived in this area all my life and have worked at, or had a relative at many facilities in our area, this one is the best. Thank you for taking such great care of our aging mother.

Berea took care of my mother for 3 weeks right before Thanksgiving, when I was able to bring her home. She is 89, blind and has Lewy Body dementia. I was there every day to see all of the wonderfully, kind and very talented staff taking care of her. I told them all I'd miss them and promised them I'd write a review. I knew the holidays would get away from me, but as you can see, I did NOT forget. That should tell everyone how much I appreciated the quality of care that my Mom received.

The building is well maintained and clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms for the residents. The IDT team of providers, nurses, CNAs, therapists, social workers and administrative staff work together to ensure the residents get quality care. The activities department keeps the residents engaged with fun life enrichment activities and outings. The food is delicious with healthy and tasty options. Berea Health and Rehab is a great facility!

Perhaps one of the Best facilities in Virginia. Great staff that care for every resident's well being and physical therapy care. Magnificent leadership. Respect and Loyalty is a top priority. Trust and teamwork is an everyday lifestyle. Quality care at it's finest, and a name that you can trust.

I don’t even know where to begin with my review! If I could give zero stars I would! My dad was brought in for care after a long hospital stay. The building itself seemed well maintained and had no odors like other facilities. But let me tell you looks can be deceiving! The first day there I was in the room with my father he had pushed the call button before I had arrived. I helped him with what he needed but left call light on to see if the staff would come. One hour went by and I finally went down to the desk where the nurse and aide were sitting. I was given many excuses such has the lights aren’t bright enough to see and shift changes. Patients needs do not stop just because there is a shift change. My dad was left in diapers and became more ill by the day and then was rushed back to t
