Extremely happy with Ben's Family Pharmacy! I called, talked to an actual pharmacist instead of an automation. They ordered the specific medication I needed & filled it in such an adequate amount of time. I am so pleasantly pleased all around! Thank you Ben's Family Pharmacy! Let’s talk about Brittany — the front counter assistant who consistently acts like customer service is a personal punishment. Every interaction feels like walking into a storm you didn’t cause but are expected to apologize for. Her default expression could curdle milk, and her tone makes you feel like you’ve asked her to hand over a kidney rather than check on your medication. I just called to find out about a medication I've been waiting on for about 2 weeks now. Every time I've called they kept telling me they were waiting on a prior authorization Ftom my doctor for TRICARE ( I have 2 insurances) when I called yesterday to see if they got it they said yes and that they would have to order it in as well as run my other insurance. No one EVER calls you to follow up with you and let you know what's going on. The lady that answered the phone today at the start was really nice, she needed some help to run my 2nd insurance so I waited for her to call someone so she could be walked through it. When she got back on the phone she said they needed a prior authorization, I was a little confused cause we had just got one... she started getting really short and rude with m

Best pharmacy around! A small, family owned operation, Ben's meets and exceeds every expectation of a pharmacy. Kind, knowledgeable staff who remember your face and name. Brittney the technician, is super efficient and nice. Ben and his other other pharmacists discuss any interactions, concerns and questions with non judgemental care and compassion, and follow their "8 min. fill" philosophy as close as possible. If they don't have a medication in stock, they can order it and get it in quickly. Often within 24 hours! I'd rather go here than ANY commercial company...ahem!...Walgreens... any day! Thanks Ben's! We are so thankful to have Ben’s Pharmacy in Calhan! The staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to have our meds ready to go!!!
