Called this Pharmacy and when I asked about special shampoo for my child would be filled? I was considerate to call on Friday to ask and they said it will be filled on Monday. Firstly, the Google page said they were open at 10 and when I called 15 after, no one answered, no one and there is no voicemail Called after 11 am, in case google page was wrong for hours and got PAULA, the pharmacist, answered. PAULA was rude and entitled. I was kind but frustrated and wanted to make sure they didnt double order for this special shampoo being a mom and pop shop, costs and all. She then gave the attitude, although seemed even annoyed to answer phone at all. I can now understand why this place has sooo many bad reviews. Your problem is customer service !! While in recovery following surgery, the nurse directed my husband to pick up meds at this pharmacy. When I got home I noticed the overcharged copays. I called and Ruby arrogantly said those were the copays. I said it’s not the copay for the generics she filled. After checking with insurance, I called back. She admitted she did not put the scripts thru insurance. She said insurance doesn’t pay her enough; so she has set prices and I should be happy they were ready for me. I told her they are all covered under my insurance, to put them thru, and credit me the difference back to my card, or I would be forced to take further action. She then said to bring back the meds for a refund and she’ll “eat the cost”. I responded that I believe it is illegal to take back already dispensed meds, and her

Belle Meade Pharmacy is a life saver! I have a young special needs child who has a lot of trouble taking medication. Their compounding services have enabled him to take all of his medications with no problems. The pharmacist was very patient and took the time to listen to our needs and craft a custom flavor that he absolutely loves. Before this I had never heard of a "compounding pharmacy," now I don't know how I've gotten by without one! The staff at Belle Meade is ALWAYS pleasant, friendly, and caring. Prescriptions are filled promptly and are always completed when they say. All of the pharmacists there really take the time to go over your medications with you, and if you have any questions you can call and actually talk to someone that knows their stuff. The staff here is incredible. They will go above and beyond for you and do what they can to make sure you have what you need. Before Bellmeade I dealt with pharmacists and techs who judged me based off my medication, here they have researched my rare disorder and come up with more options for me and my doctor. I feel blessed that I found them. Ruby and her team go way more than the extra mile for their patients. This year Dan even helped me look into cheaper insurance options. They offer delivery and pill packaging if you need it along with compounding. Top notch! Couldn't ask for more.

A few months back, I gave a horrible review to this pharmacy. My daughter has stage four cancer, and the costs of her meds sky rocketed. I let my emotions take over, when I was charged so much! I owe an apology to owner and staff. Cancer affects the whole family and for me at 73 not able help my daughter has turned me into an angry person. Again I apologize for any problems I have caused.
