If I could leave less than a star, I would. Our family’s experience with Dr. Brockman at Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia was extremely upsetting and left a lasting negative impact on our son. From the start, her attitude toward us, my wife, our child, and me, was dismissive and condescending. There was no empathy or patience, just a cold, rushed approach that made an already stressful situation even harder. Both our in-person visit and the follow-up video call felt hurried. Dr. Brockman made it clear that we “shouldn’t need more than 20 minutes” to go over what turned out to be life-changing information about our son. That attitude felt unprofessional and insensitive, especially considering how serious the conversation was. During the evaluation, I was scolded in front of our son

Our experience with Dr. Brockman at Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia was deeply upsetting and, frankly, traumatizing for our son. From the very beginning, her behavior toward our family—my husband, our child, and myself—was unacceptable. She spoke to us in a dismissive and condescending manner, showing little empathy or patience for concerned parents trying to understand their child’s needs. We felt rushed throughout both the in-person visit and the follow-up video appointment. Dr. Brockman made it clear that we “shouldn’t need more than 20 minutes” to process and discuss what she described as life-altering information about our son. That kind of approach was not only unprofessional but extremely distressing. During the evaluation itself, my husband was scolded in front of our child

I am extremely unhappy with Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia. My child has a confirmed autism diagnosis, attends school with autistic peers, and the KB program requested documentation for eligibility. Despite this, the clinic insists on four appointments over 12 weeks, with no clinical reason. The first appointment accomplished nothing charged me 182$ plus do not know how much was charged to the insurance, and the staff refused to accelerate the process, which seems unnecessary and bureaucratic. It is very disappointing that a process that could easily be completed in one or two appointments is being prolonged, causing stress for families. I hope the clinic reconsiders how they handle cases with existing documentation, this system is unnecessarily slow and frustrating for parents tr

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! We used Dr. Zeanah for my son’s autism evaluation, and I am so glad we did! I’ve recognized my son is autistic for about a year now, but because he could be considered more “mild,” a lot of people (doctors included) tend to dismiss it or refuse to acknowledge even the possibility of it. I have never felt more seen and validated than in the virtual appointments we had with Dr. Zubler, who actually listened to my concerns about my son, and was very proactive about going ahead and referring him to therapies and programs. Then, Dr. Zeanah noticed traits about my son during the final in-person evaluation that even I hadn’t noticed! She is so knowledgeable about what autism looks like, all across the spectrum! He has finally received a diagnos

Wonderful staff and Dr. Zeanah is absolutely AMAZING! Both of my children have been seeing her for the past 9 years and I can't be any more impressed with the way addresses questions and concerns as well as she takes her time to explain and help you understand what is best for the child. She helps with outside resources to better gain information and age appropriate activities for the child. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done to help me understand what I can do to help my children progress and succeed from their diagnoses.
