While looking for a new veterinarian in our area, I came across Dr Tussey’s profile. The fact that he loves animals was a no-brainer, but his love of God clenched it for me. A person that truly loves God also loves his creatures. At our visit, I was blown away by the care & patience he & his team demonstrated. I definitely recommend Beaver Creek Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a trusted veterinarian and caring support team. These are phenomenal caregivers!

Dr. Tussey and staff are super dealing with our sick fur babies, and we love him and the staff here. In December 2013, Shawn had my Diabetic Service Dog in his care. Shawn found out that the AKC breeder was selling defective puppies and he made sure that the breeder in Syacuse, NY lost her AKC Status as a breeder. Shawn wanted to put her down that evening and I asked if my wife and I could come in the following morning so we could hold Goldie while she was being put to sleep. I still cry for my Goldie Rose over her issue in 2026 Told my wife, when I go, I want her urn placed in my box with me!

I had searched for a good place to take my 2 cats that would be reasonable with price, plus be caring with my babies. I took them to the Beaver Creek Vet and for 2 the price was not bad at all. They were very caring and very informative on every question that was asked. I will definitely be taking my fur babies back because they show they genuinely care about your pets.
