Beachside Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

This was our third visit to Beachside Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. The waiting area has always had child friendly entertainment with movies, hands free game play, cheerful art work, and comfortable seating. My child, patient, had his weight taken, and parents are allowed to sit near their child. I was offered a seat near a window. My child felt comfortable so I felt comfortable. The trays and instruments were clean. The staff wore gloves and masks. This most recent visit was a cleaning. In previous visits my son has had x-rays and teeth extracted. The hygienist instructed my son how to brush to help prevent build up behind his teeth. She also spoke about the bacteria that is on your teeth will be the bacteria in your chest/ heart. Both grandparents have had heart attacks so dental hygiene

I cannot say enough good things about this office and their staff! Everyone is kind and patient and makes the kids feel at ease. As a parent I truly appreciate how they consistently run on schedule and get you “in and out” while at the same time never making you feel rushed. For example my daughters had 8am and 830am appointments however they conducted them concurrently which allowed me to have them both checked into school by 845am

EDIT: I unfortunately have to edit my review from my first visit. During our second visit, we ended up leaving 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment. My daughter is only 22 months old and cannot wait to be seen for that length of time (I wouldn't even want to wait that long as an adult). There was no communication and when I finally came out of the room, I stated that we'd be leaving and the staff just said that's fine. I would have appreciated a clear line of communication (ex: it'll just be X more minutes or would you like us to reschedule?) or at least a toothbrush/toy when leaving since my toddler was looking forward to both (bribery for going to the dentist). I left extremely upset and frustrated and won't be returning. I understand delays happen, but it's not right to leave pati

We’ve taken our son to 3 different pediatric dentists in Melbourne and Beachside Smiles is the best! They are so patient and kind, and I trust that they are being honest and not trying to push on us pricey procedures (which is more than I can say for another popular pediatric dentist in Brevard who I’ll refrain from naming). They are busy but I can absolutely see why. So happy to have found them!

Katie is excellent at her job - she met all of my son’s questions with a smile, laugh and honest answers. Same goes for Dr. B, and truly the rest of the staff that we met for our first visit!
