If you value patient rights, dignity, or basic human decency, avoid this facility. My mother was admitted here for stroke rehabilitation, and despite being fully mentally competent, mobile, and medically stable, she was subjected to manipulation and intimidation when she tried to leave. In 11 days, she received a grand total of five hours of physical therapy — and yet the facility pushed to keep her longer simply because her insurance approved more days. When she expressed that she was more comfortable at home and wanted to be discharged, staff became hostile and coercive. Most disturbing of all, they threatened my brother with “arrest” for simply coming to pick her up — a completely baseless, unethical, and inappropriate attempt to scare our family into compliance. My mother was sent here for palliative hospice care during emergency respite. We pulled her out in less than 24 hours. Mom was left UNATTENDED from her arrival, between 7 - 8 PM, until our hospice sent on-call nurse arrived for a welfare check, at 11:30 PM. Assessment included elevated blood pressure, anxiety and respiratory distress. She had been given NONE of the medication in her chart, now required within 2 hours to prevent further suffering. The rehab claimed that her meds were supposed to have come with her and that no order would be filled (as I have been told by multiple sources present on my mother's behalf). Since I am out of state, I asked a trusted friend to bring Mom her medication. The staff would not let her leave it due to being in the daily sorters they had been distribute

Terrible, I arrived yesterday afternoon from the hospital for rehab at 4 PM. I was checked in and put in a room alone. I sat in there for close to two hours and didn’t see it so until I finally asked for a glass of water. I also asked for a walker or a wheelchair as a time since I had a fall, and I am unable to walk on my own. I was told it’s not available until therapy authorizes it today. The only method of utilizing the facilities would be a bedpan. I was invited to meet the Silletti was for rehab, as well as skilled patient care is obvious that that is not the case. My bedroom Neighbor kept me awake most of the night with her ravings. I am leaving as soon as I can and I am never coming back.

Overall I am not impressed. My mom is there. There's been no information given to me in any way, regarding her health or care. I have called and asked for whoever is in charge and wind up getting a nurse. If I call after hours the phone either just rings or the person who answers has no idea how to transfer a call. There seems to be little to no communication between staff, or the residents who are there. Since I'm out of state, it's very frustrating to not have anyone contact me at all. She's been there well over a month. And I have no idea what's going on with her. Based on that alone, I'd never recommend this place. My mom hates it as well. Very unprofessional when it comes to checking out. Delays, time changes, excuses to keep you in there. Zero communication to families. We called several times no return calls. When they do call back they’re rude, disrespectful and avoid helping you. I would not recommend this facility to any family member.
