To the staff of Bayview Rehabilitation, I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding care my father Robert (June 2025) received during his stay in rehab. Your team professionalism, kindness and attention to detail were truly remarkable and made a difficult time more bearable for my dad and family. I also want to thank physical & occupational therapy staff, for all your work, helping my dad. The only complaint is dinner menu. Thank you we will use Bayview Rehabilitation again

My mother went in for rehab with a broken femur doctors plan anywhere between six and eight weeks of rehab. After seeing this facility in two weeks, I pulled my mom out of me immediately. I don’t know why they call themselves rehab. They may spend 20 minutes if that a day. The staff would have her laying in her own feces for extended periods of time. They put a catheter and they’re out of convenience. It took me a week to get him to pull it out and she ended up with an infection. The food was ridiculous. I’ll put in a photo of a dinner that was supposed to be a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato abyss soup. There is a few good nurses and staff that were very pleasant to be around and then they also have very nasty grumpy stuff that ignored problems and the buzzer. I wouldn’t let my dog

Choosing a nursing or rehabilitation facility for an aging family, member can be a difficult and emotional decision. Especially when health and recovery or at stake my recent experience with my 90 year old mother who suffered from COPD exposed both the strengths and the shortcomings of such a facility a place where the people were nothing short of amazing, but where the medical attention fail heartbreakingly short, my mother was admitted to the facility following a hospital stay her goal simply to regain strength so she could safely return home The staff welcomed her warmly and treated her with genuine kindness. My husband went there from the hospital. He was bright and talkative. He went down rapidly when he went to Bayview. Day after day he sat in a darkened room in a chair with his head hanging, till I got there. There were dirty wet towels in the shower for three days. The food was always cold, while outside the door the help chatted. One day he didn't even get a meal. He had to ask for something. The food was so salty it was uneatable, while his legs were swelling. Never once did anyone even put their head in the room to see if he was ok. He is a 100% better since he has been home and I have been working with him, doing exercises and being mobile. I wouldn't wish that place on anyone.

This building is incredible! I have a very close family friend who was a rehab patient. The rehab staff took great care of him. I had the chance to talk with the DON a few times. She was always very polite. I can tell that she really loves her job. I saw the administrator walking around the building and talking with everyone. The receptionist always greeted me with a smile. There was never a smell and the room was kept clean. I would recommend this place for rehab to anyone.
