Bayview NowCare Urgent Care - Princess Anne

I visited this urgent care this past Saturday 14 and overall I had a very good experience. When I first arrived, the front desk took my name, but shortly after another patient came in with her daughter and I was asked to sit down while they were attended before me. As more people arrived, I had to stand up and make eye contact to be called again. I believe the check-in process could be improved to make it more fair and organized for everyone. That said, the medical care I received was outstanding. The nurse and doctor Chow were absolutely wonderful — kind, professional, and very efficient. They made the pre- up process smooth and stress-free, explained everything clearly, and ensured all the required tests and paperwork were completed properly. I’ve lived in Hampton Roads for 19 years. My family has been to a few urgent care facilities over the years, and I’d have to say that our experience at NowCare Princess has been the best. Their offices are clean, the staff is friendly, and the care is above par. They even called to check up on my family the day after we all tested positive for the flu. We were in an out in less than two hours, and that’s with more than one person being checked out. It was a pleasant experience, which means so much when you’re feeling under the weather and taking care of children that are in the same boat. I highly recommend this urgent care facility!

We went in today for my special needs son (6) because we were concerned he had staph infection. I let the staff know that he was autistic and nonverbal, and they treated him with the utmost care and respect. Our wait was about 2 and a half hours with a full waiting room, and the nurse practitioner we had was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Even our intake nurse was so kind and supportive of us coming in for his needs because she believes the world needs to see more of it. I’ll be recommending this location to everyone. Thank you and your staff again for doing a small gesture of kindness that was really huge in our world.

This urgent care is probably one of the best in Hampton Roads. This office is ran very efficient and they listen to their patients. They deliver results and the care is top tier. It's definitely the urgent care office I seek when I'm sick. I will drive from Norfolk to Virginia Beach to be seen there because their staff, nurses and doctors are competent and are able to solve problems. Bayview Urgent Care in Chesapeake is also ran very efficent. I 100% recommend them for you sick days.

Went in for multi symptoms. I have never stood in line at an urgent care to be seen that long in my life. The lady at the front was pleasant but extremely slow and had absolutely no sense of urgency with it being an "urgent" care clinic. Nurse asked me if I wanted a flu/COVID test, then tries to make me swab myself, then the doctor asked me if I wanted an X-ray. Guys. I'm not the doctor here and I am too sick to be making all these decisions. Why am I paying you? I only went because it was the weekend and my PCP was closed. This place has really gone downhill!
