Bayview NowCare Medical Center- Indian River

Receptionist is rude. Witnessed while waiting over 2 hours one day and when returning for TB test reading. They dont tell you to bring back the paper for the TB test.... Good thing I happened to leave it in my car. But won't help you if you don't have it. And doesn't care. They also tell everyone they have to pay since they dont have a pre-approval. Literally every time this was said, it turned out they did in fact already have said paperwork, they just aren't willing to look for it. Then they tell the patient to do their work and call and get an approval when they are the ones contracted amd being paid to do this job.... Honestly have no idea why these places agree to the contracts if they are going to treat the patients being sent poorly.

I have been sick, coughing, running nose,slight headache and little sore throat for over a week this Thursday 2/19/26. Front desk very nice/professional and Dr and his assistant very professional also. Prescribed antibiotics that I started last night. Wil give a couple of more days, prayerful should feel better. Thank you all for your service.

I came here for pre-employment screening and was here for 3 hours. I'm not kidding, I got here 1:40 for a 2 pm appointment and left at 4:44. Each individual item took 3-5 minutes each, bloodwork, drug test, and then physical exam. But I waited an incredibly long time in-between each thing. I spent an entire hour, 60 minutes, in the waiting rooms waiting to be seen. This was really the most awful pre-employment screen I ever had. Most individuals that I encountered here were very nice and kind, but 3 hours is unbelievable.

I deleted my review at first but I feel like this still has to be said…on 2/17/26 I had a life threatening allergic reaction and had to stop at this location, and after telling the lady at the front desk that I could not breathe, she said “Well you still want to be seen don’t you?” and handed me paperwork which I don’t think was very professional. I was also told she made a remark asking “why” I came (I had on scrubs because I was leaving my job at another healthcare provider when my reaction got worse). I promise I hate leaving bad reviews but that was my first time ever having to use my EpiPen, I was scared and genuinely afraid I could have lost my life so I wish the situation was treated with more urgency :/

The doctors in the back are great. The lady at the front desk was rude and couldn’t understand simple questions. It took them a week of back and forth to send my results ( they stated they sent them several times but didn’t) making me start work late. If you have the chance to go somewhere else for preemployment physicals I would. It’s a shame that the staff in the back who are all great have such poor admin support.
