Baystate Noble Hospital

Almost 8 hours waiting for severe dehydration and most likely anemia. I now have a migraine and no one has been at triage for 2 hours to ask for Tylenol. When people ask how long. They are so rude and lack empathy. They say they are very busy. They are terrible here go to baystate. I always deal with urgent care but they don't do IV. All I need is an IV so I can take care of my family. I would not have been at this hospital if it wasn't the closest one to me. NEVER AGAIN!!

Was seen today for an outpatient surgery. Arrival time was 10 am and was taken in very promptly after registration. Surgery was scheduled for 11:30 and was taken in at 11:31 right on time! My pre-op nurse Kelly was amazing and calming. This was my first surgery so I wasn’t exactly an easy patient and she was with my every step of the way. Every nurse and doctor and everyone else part of the OR team really took care of me and was thorough and explained the entire procedure from start to finish. I was done and discharged before I knew it with no complications and was sent home with all the information I could possibly need and even a handwritten card. The first experience I had was quite helpful as they managed my pain and made sure i was ok after falling and fracturing ribs. Had a good conversation with a doctor he explained the importance of pain management with fractured ribs and breathing exercises. Unfortunately this sentiment dissappears quickly as I went back a week later with the same fractured ribs in a considerable amount of pain still. But this time I was told they would not help me with my pain for another week of medication for my safety. How this week is any different that last week as nothing had changed. Ribs still fractured, still in pain, but this time no help whatsoever and the doctor didn't even come to see me. Made his decision from the other room. I brought my daughter to the hospital because she had a fever and was coughing. We were kept waiting for nearly 5 hours. It was a terrible experience. I will never come to this hospital again.

This was the worst experience of my life, being misdiagnosed, frightened into thinking I had some horrible lung problem, thrown in a geriatric and mental health ward where I was treated like a person with no mind left, given medication I didn't need, had to fight for medication I did need, talked down to called 'honey, sweetheart' etc, no respect at all, it was filthy and the nurse assigned to me didn't listen, wouldn't give me the medication to calm down I was prescribed and then I was shipped off in an ambulance to Baystate for no reason, where I spent yet another night scared something was seriously wrong. I will never go here again, and the ER isn't much better, the people were made to wait, like myself, with nothing to drink, not even water in a paper cup.
