Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care+ Lewisville

Not what I expected. When I got there I was asked for my medical card and DL. I indicated that i uploaded them already. So not sure why its a requirement if they need to see it again. My appointment was at 10:15 but did not get seen till almost 1030. It did not seem busy. When I got seen in the back with the nurse we talked about 10 min. And swabs for the flu, covid and strep. I asked how long does the test take and she about 15 in total. So I was put in a room. It was about 20 min before for the doctor to come give me the results. She was in the room for about 5 min. Apparently they don't look at the chart as i was asked if i had any issues like diabetes or high blood pressure. Well i had told the nurse that i was a diabetic. I give them 5 stars because their customer service was good. They had good attitudes and they were kind to my husband. Now, i will give Jasmine Morgan a 2 star because I don't think she knew how to treat his specific ailment. She really didn't listen to the issue. Instead she just went right in to charge worthy things for insurance purposes instead of actually getting to his issue, which was SCIATIC NERVE PAIN IN THE LEFT HIP! I asked that he be put on some type of nerve medication that will target that specific area, or give him a steroid shot. She just bypassed all of that and went straight to what I told her I had been previously doing for him at home already. IT ISN'T HELPING JASMINE! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them for taking the time to care for my ankle. They performed their duties with excellence in all aspects. I am deeply thankful from the bottom of my heart.

I wasn’t feeling my best due to an infection and had to wait a bit, but that’s par for the course in healthcare setting. The MA and PA were pleasant, attentive and personable. My only and main complaint would be the small seat that was in the exam room. I’m not as big as a house but I am thick and that chair was so uncomfortable and squeezed the sides of my thighs to the point where I had to lay on the exam table for relief. This I feel is an mis-sight and unacceptable. As a healthcare worker myself, I feel to be “all inclusive” appropriate chairs(like the ones in the waiting area) need to be placed in ALL exam rooms to accommodate all patients to model & promote a value of excellence always.

Worst place to go for any service. Billing department is beyond disgusting. Billed my insurance under wrong name and claim was denied. I got bill in mail. After repeated attempts by phone and providing all the credential the claim was never refiled. They sent the account to collection.explained them everything only to hear how are you going to pay or get ready for ruined credit. I felt helpless. They have all the power. Ended up paying this place entire charges from my pocket. Not to mention that i pay 550$ to united healthcare every month. Get your shit together Baylor and scott white urgent care lewisville.
