Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care - Georgetown Central

Avoid at all costs - actively shady billing practices. On multiple occasions, they have attempted to double bill physical appointments for completely fake "additional concerns". They will not provide any evidence of this, and you have to sit on the phone with them for hours on end trying to get this corrected. This is an endemic issue and they appear to have no interest in correcting the problem. EDIT: Still waiting for them to follow up on submitted documentation, both from an earlier communication and from the link in the "Owner Response".

I was very scared and worried about this place because I read some of the reviews but my boyfriend and their family insisted it was a good place. The staff were very straight to the point. (I also went early in the morning… so I can understand sometimes we aren’t always a morning person) The wait wasnt too long. The nurse I had was so sweet and funny! I loved her! And the doctor I had. Omg so sweet! Everyone is so kind. I read a comment that everyone is mean…. Or unethical. But I didn’t see that at all.

I came in with severe back pain radiating to my arm and chest. I could barely stand, sit, or drive. They checked me in and left me waiting a long time while in pain, only to later call me back up to the front desk and tell me they were down to one urgent care doctor and that doctor had just gone to lunch. I am furious that my time was wasted while I was in such severe pain. This urgent care will never be an option for me again. They should have been upfront.

Just spent most of the last day of 2024 in the waiting room! Called for an appointment at 7:59 am and was told not appointments were available but the office on Rivery in Georgetown has a walk-in clinic. Great info so I arrived at the clinic and signed in and was told it could be up to a three hour wait. Not ideal but thw waiting room was pretty full so the wait was better than nothing. HOWEVER, after about two hours everyone that we in the waiting room when I arrived had been seen and peoplke that just came thru the door were being called back to the doctor and I was still just sitting there. SO, I ask why and was told that I was still number six on the waiting list because they were seeing patients with scheduled appointments. NOW, I may be slow minded but I thought that at a walk-in cl
