Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple

This was a very pleasant experience. We went to day surgery and the staff were very compassionate and caring. The hospital was laid out with easy to follow routes. They had a nice waiting area. A small but great cafeteria with an assortment of fresh and hot meals. We found a fabulous coffee spot that sold Starbucks products and coffees. Along the way we discovered a cute and quaint gift shop. The surgical rooms were well stocked and ready for each patient. The waiting room was clean and even had a vending area for snacks and drinks. I loved the little history presentation on the walls as you walked the hallways. Very unique place.

My labor and delivery via repeat C section experience :Overall Rating 8/10 Staff 10/10 My doctor Kevin Huddleston and his team were amazing throughout my whole pregnancy and postpartum care. 1) Doc Huddleston always answered myself and my husband questions and concerns. Very experienced in his field and known in the community for his expertise. Great personality and has the ability to make medical terminology understandable . 2)The nurses at his practice amazzzzing! They are nurturing , sweet and very good at answering questions. 3) My C section surgery was everything and some. In preparation for my surgery the nurses made me feel more like family or close friends. Which helped my anxiety soo much! They took care of me, and ensured I was comfortable. Worst hospital that I’ve ever been into I will never recommend my family or friends to go to this hospital staff forgets about you don’t give you the medicine they supposed to give you they leave you in bloody clothes and don’t take care of the Wounds that’s I Received my accent. they don’t want to clean the room they leave trash and stuff all over the place. I’ve asked several times should have to pick up the trash from the room and they don’t wanna do it. Leave towel in Dirty with blood. I just don’t know what to do if somebody could help me in this situation or get a lawyer involved in this I would greatly appreciate it And the final pictures about how they wrapped my arm you can see the blood in it

I rarely post negative reviews but after my experience here, I almost wish I'd just been left out in the field. I was in a horseback riding accident where I was stuck under the horse in some barbed wire fencing for half an hour and had to have an ambulance transport me to the hospital. The paramedics were awesome and advocated for me at the hospital. When they brought me in, I did not know it was a student hospital and immediately had over a dozen people swarming me. I was in pain and on fentanyl, and had 6 people talking to me at once and asking me to answer them instead of speaking one at a time so I could properly pay attention and answer. I had the most wonderful experience at this hospital from the very beginning of my labor until my full recovery. I honestly can’t thank the staff enough for the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care they showed me and my baby throughout the entire process. The medical team was amazing — they explained every step with patience, compassion, and respect. You can tell they truly love what they do and that they care deeply about their patients’ well-being.
