Baylor Emergency Medical Center- Emergency Room Mansfield

Do not go this center. Truly, you could die here. The doctors are not professional. They lose orders and lab results. Different doctors come and go thru a revolving door. Their saving grace is the nursing staff. Whatever you do, go to a real hospital if you are going to get admitted. They are not equipped or staffed with serious , committed medical staff. More like I am reporting to work and getting paid to be here.

Do not go to this emergency room… we took my mother here because she was having trouble catching her breath when she was coughing she had been diagnosed with covid a week prior. .Don’t go there. I say it again don’t go there the ER will treat you like dirt.

The absolute worst medical “care” I have ever received. The receptionist was nice and quickly got me back after recognizing possible stroke symptoms. That’s where it stopped. The nurses were not friendly or sympathetic. The doctor’s visit was maybe 5 minutes. A CT scan was done that showed nothing. Now I know after talking to many doctors afterwards that a brain MRI is the preferred test for diagnosing a stroke. The ER doctor released me after an hour and a half and in so many words, said don’t come back here because we won’t be able to help you. Even though the Baylor name hangs on the building, they aren’t connected to Baylor’s system. I went to this location because of the Baylor connection because my primary and many of my doctors are in the Baylor umbrella. Turns out, this location

Please do not bring your family here. My husband almost died in this place. They’re were no doctor present during my husband’s stay only virtual and nurses and staff had no clue. I’d hate to see anyone’s loved one going through what we did..stay away please.

I'm here right now being seen for chest pain/back pain with heavy breathing. The Nursing staff and MD are awesome!
