Actually 2.5 Stars. Today is February 7th, 2026. Its 4:45 p.m.I am currently sitting behind the front desk person's desk on a crappy bench freezing. We are so close to the entrance and can feel the cold wind whipping and rushing in. Prior to even being helped, the lady calls someone and asks is she still getting a break. To me that signaled she didn't want to even help us or anyone else. Me and my girlfriend who went into labor come here with our 2 year old son to check in. Aware I couldn't go with my girlfriend as we have our child with us to the delivery room, I began walking past the doors to sit away from the front entrance doors of the ER. Today is the cold advisory in Kent County, people going in and out it's cold as hell in here. The woman, a black secretary yelled, "Sir you're not
I bought my infant (5 mo) came in here at 2:45-2:50 am after he went to the pediatrics and we didn’t get his results back and he wasn’t getting better on the spot I found out he has rsv and covid they took him into the ER gave him a steroid and a nebulizer to stabilize the wheezing he was feeling they said they would like to monitor him for 2 and a half hours and hour and 45 mins go by the doctor comes in and says he still here’s the wheezing which I agreed and ordered him another nebulizer said he’s calling the pediatrics doctor to see about admitting my baby. the pediatrician doctors comes in around 5 am with the respiratory nurse and tells me they are admitting him to monitor him keep in mind he’s getting another nebulizer treatment as we are talking after that I never seen no other doc
First the nursing staff was WONDERFUL both day and night shift! My issues are the Doctors and PA's After two nights I was sent home with my symptoms worsening and was told to follow up with my primary ....my primary cannot help me and when the PA called me on Thursday he asked if I had a follow up with my primary I said no and neurologist cannot see me until April and my symptoms are getting worse....his answer her my primary to order an MRI with contrast or come back in to the ER....this is after I explained 4 times while I was in there a few days ago my family history of Rheumatoid Arthritis, MS, Lupus, and cancer when I was asked....no one listened so my whole left side of my body even around my eye is tingling and I'm having some imbalance and vision issues my head feels "heavy" along
Not sure why I googled this hospital, since I was there almost 31 years ago to give birth. It sounds like very little has changed as far as attentiveness and basic manners are concerned. A nineteen-year-old in the same unit as me was given much attention, understandably. She was on the phone almost nonstop trying to get her baby daddy to visit. The child screamed all night and into the morning. I, on the other hand, was a 34-year-old first time mom that had problems getting my newborn to burp. He wouldn't nurse much, probably because he was so gassy. And although he didn't cry, I knew I needed someone to help me with this basic task. A smug nurse walked in and rolled her eyes and went "um, um um" when I voiced my concern. She got him to burp and then snapped when I told her it had be
My dad was admitted into this hospital back in November. This place lost all of his belongings which included his wallet ( social security card, license and $190 cash money! ) his rings that he wore .Cell phone. Many other things he carried on his person. All of which is perfect for someone to have for identity theft! Made him feel like he was so sick that he must have mistaken about what he had on him. He was sick but absolutely nothing wrong with his mental state!! Items were Never recovered. Said they could have gotten thrown away by accident. Was told his personal belongings were his responsibility but yet he couldn’t walk. He did not pack his bag and put it away for safe keeping! Once he was discharged he had me file a police report. They followed up but came back at him with the same
