BayCare Urgent Care (Winter Haven)

From the moment I made an online appointment, was checked in by the receptionist, met with the nurses, doctor, and xray tech, it was all Exceptional. I can't say enough good things about my experience. This will definitely be our go to place for non emergency services. Thank you so much ❤️

Front Desk and nurse were great. The PA had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. I went in for difficulty walking due to my knee issue. Mind you. It was on a Sunday. Explained that I had two prior surgeries on my knee and know I feeling discomfort again. She touched my knee for a second or two and said to go see a specialist. I could have saved the $100 Co-pay and figured that out my own. I wanted them to do an X-ray and she said that wasn't part of the treatment. I'm a Baycare patient and my Primary is wonderful to deal with. However, this PA needs better bedside manners. Hopefully the Medical Director reads this review.

Went in because I thought I had the flu. Tested me for COVID and the flu which was negative. Sent me to the ER because my heart rate was slightly elevated. After EKG, X-ray and bloodwork. Doctor said it was a virus. Everyone’s heart rate goes up with a fever. The whole staff at the hospital said Urgent Care is sending too many patients to them.

People were efficient and courteous. The 5 day method for the Prednisome is not working well. When I had my first dose of Prednisome in Oct. I took each day dosage all at once as opposed to through the day. The results ws great. Cleared it up in a few days. Seems a better way.

My husband and I were visiting Winter Haven and needed urgent care for an over-the-top allergic reaction I had to insect bites. We weren't sure where to go, but read good things on line about BayCare Urgent Care. I'm so glad we went there. The office staff greeted us right away. Helped us with the registration process, which was easy! And the wait was not what you typically expect in a UC setting. The care I received was exceptional. And the diagnosis and treatment got me on my way to feeling better. Friendly staff and knowledgeable caregivers. Also, they didn't mind answering any questions we had. Highly recommend.
