BayCare Urgent Care (NE St. Petersburg)

Oh man, really ill during Christmas. Had a hard time finding an urgent care open. BayCare was open on Friday, and very busy. We did not have an appointment. There were 15 people ahead of me. I was amazed how quickly the staff got each patient into see a Dr. wait time was minimal both in the waiting area and exam room. Dr. spent time listening, explained the issue I was experiencing and provided a script. Adequate parking . I would use this facility again when need arises.

My appointment was a breeze. I scheduled an appointment and was seen on time. The front desk staff was very helpful, the Medical Assistant or Nurse was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. She listened intently as I explained my symptoms. The doctor was very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Great experience, friendly front desk staff. Kind and compassionate care from each provider, nurses and physician. I appreciated the quick availability when my PCP was not available. I made an appointment online and waited less than 5 minutes after checking in.

Care was good but the reception was lacking. Receptionist was not friendly and barely acknowledged me. There was only one person in the waiting room so it was not busy. Nurse and Nurse practitioner were nice and friendly. The medical assistant was just ok, I asked about when I could take the bandages off and he said whenever you want. I read the notes when I got home and it said once daily. My experience was just ok, but the care was good.

My first time using BayCare Medicare advantage plan Urgent care benefit. Arrived at front desk to sign in, present my card to clerk, start processing my visit. Was informed my account is "not active". Contacted Baycare customer service, had to be transferred twice to get resolution. Once my account was recognized, I was seen by a physician who completed a visit. Prescribed drugs that worked to alleviate my bronchitis. Will return next time I need urgent care
