Bay Area Gastroenterology: Webster

I have used this Dr Office for years and they apparently sold and changed out all their Doctors. I only gave 1 star because the front office is still the same people and they are very nice. The woman who treated me was not even the same Dr I made an appointment with. She is not even listed on their website. She was very uncaring and rushed me out as soon as she could. She did not answer my questions completely and really dismissed my situation. I paid more out of pocket for a regular office visit than other doctor's offices. I will not go back. I am finding a new Dr who actually cares about their patients.

I am not a patient here, but my dad is and I am incredibly disappointed in this office. Firstly, they outsource their phone lines so good luck getting in contact with the front office. Secondly, even if your insurance covers everything, this office will still charge $325 after the fact for a “building fee” claiming it’s the co-pay. BS. My dad went in for a routine colonoscopy, and immediately after they told him all looked good, they removed some polyps, and they would keep him updated with the results. Then, my dad gets a very doom and gloom call stating he must come in person for his results. He asked if they could share the results over the phone, they said no as it was imperative they discuss it in person. Not a good sign, right? Three weeks of anxiously waiting goes by and my dad retu

Didn't listen to me at all the 3 times I've been there for same problem. Referred me to a proctologist that didn't help the problem I've been having for 9 months and wakes me up several times a night. Finally decides he should take a look, then prescribed bowel prep ($69) loaded with sodium after I told them I have Meniere's disease. Then has the audacity to ask why I didn't mention it before. I am very frustrated!

Wife just had a colonoscopy procedure done at the facility this morning. All in all, it was a very good experience. The whole thing was just over a little of an hour. Everything went smoothly from checking in to discharging. The staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommend this place to everyone has the same need.
