Dr. Nguyen and the office staff make going to the dentist a positive experience. I’ve moved a few times and have gone to different dentists and have never really particularly liked the experience. But after my first appointment with Dr. Nguyen, I knew she’d be the one I go to while living in the area. She brings a light and positive presence to dentistry. She takes the time to sit down, show you the imaging of your teeth, and goes through each issue and her suggestions. This was a first for me. Usually, most dentists take x-rays, tells you the problem (without showing you the scans unless asked), then fixes it - which is sufficient, yes. But I really appreciate the detail Dr. Nguyen goes to of explaining the problem, potential causes, and her thought process for her suggestions and fix. Bo

Bascom Valley Dental is genuinely excellent. I’ve been a patient here for several years, and Dr. Nguyen is consistently attentive and thoughtful. She takes the time to explain each procedure, why it’s needed, and makes sure I feel completely comfortable before moving forward. The entire staff is kind and welcoming. I have been coming to Bascom Valley Dental for close to a year now. Dr. Nguyen is the best dentist I have seen in the Bay Area, she is skilled and very gentle. When I went to her, I had some pretty bad dental experiences that had left issues I just was living with instead of seeing a dentist about them. She took the time to understand all of that and made a plan with me on how to rectify and fix everything. We have been following that plan ever since and all my dental issues are a history I don’t remember anymore! Her entire staff is amazing and very friendly. My favorite dentist :) I got my braces here, all my cleanings, my whole family goes here now. They're very professional, on-time, efficient, and very friendly, even gave me a blanket when I was getting cavities filled in case it would be too cold when drilling, they always check for my comfort while working on me. The whole team makes me feel comfortable whenever I go in. Anytime there's a procedure Dr. Nguyen explains it to me fully. Appointments are always really smooth, on cleaning days I'm reliably in and out within 30 min, it's simple to schedule on the way out the door and reschedule if needed over text. They make going to the dentist totally pain free. 100% recommend I love them.
