My biggest concern is the website made this office look like a real doctor's office specializing in treating obesity as a disease. I drove two hours round trip to get tested and possibly treated for sleep apnea, hormone disturbances, and binge eating disorder. This office does not do any of that. This is a diet center. They offer three programs -- a liquid fast consisting of 550 calories a day with weekly visits, a partial fast (two shakes a day plus one meal that follows their diet guidelines) with biweekly visits, and a monthly plan in which I would follow either a high protein low carb diet or a high fat low carb diet. The monthly option included an eating plan with lists of approved or prohibited foods. Carrots and fruit were on the list of prohibited foods. On carrots: about twenty
