Barksdale Pharmacy

The main pharmcy at the medical office is great satalite pharmacy is the Worst pharmacy I've ever seen in my life, 1. If you need a refill takes 3 days...seriously????? Lol even CVS wallgreens and other pharmacy have just as much and more and takes them 3mins-a few hours....at most..... 2. Completly unorganized...... The system how they do thinga Doesnt even make sense.......or add up lol. 3. If they tell you to come pick it up by a certain time or day dont believe them..... 4. 😑SOMEONE STOLE ONE OF MY PILLS. I WAS PRESCRIBED 10 PAIN PILLS FOR MY CHRONIC ILLNESS AND I GOT 9! I tell them about it and then I'm told it gets checked by 3 times...okay well ur third person stole my pills. 5. Other bases I've been at....you got 1 building for all meds, tests,doctors ect. And maximum my prescripti

Dropped off script in the drop-box yesterday morning before 0730 and went back after 1530 to pick up; but was told that they do not check the drop-box until after hours (?). This is not posted. Therefore I went back today at 0900ish and was told they haven't been able to get to it, please come back this afternoon. Went back after 1540 and was told they have not been able to get to it due to being behind. 1 script, 2 full days? I would like to pass a sincere compliment to the pharmacy telephone attendant that helped me this morning. I can honestly say she was the best ever. Very patient, polite, and thorough. Completely customer focused. I think that when a person is treated with respect you get respect back. We should work on not being demanding or to have an entitlement mentality with others. You aren't allowed to request a refill until you have a week of medication left. Turnaround time for them to fill the medication usually takes 5 business days (this is for a standard medication). God forbid they have an exercise or there is a holiday coming up, you'll be out of luck. Customer service is lacking. Do yourself a favor and just fill your meds somewhere else where you don't have to wait a week and risk going without.

The worst run pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure to interact with in the Air Force. They’ve forgotten to transfer scripts to TDY locations after confirming they had. I’ve missed a week’s worth of meds because the stated date the script would be filled in the BX scripts machine was off by *4 days*. The satellite pharmacy regularly redirects you to the main pharmacy, and the main to the satellite. I submitted a paper prescription, which they were unable to fill before I had to leave on a TDY, so they returned the paper script for me to fill at a local pharmacy at my TDY location—except I couldn’t because barksdale had marked the script as filled. The incompetence is astounding.
