I am writing this review after a series of profoundly frustrating and unacceptable experiences with Barbour Orthopedics. My husband and I have been patients, and the administrative failures here have completely undermined our trust. First, we took time off work and drove 30 minutes for an MRI review appointment, only to wait over an hour in the lobby while staff demanded a copay. The appointment was then canceled because they “didn’t have the MRI reports.” No one called to tell us the records were missing beforehand. When we scheduled a second appointment, I called ahead to confirm they had the reports. The receptionist said they did not. Again, no one from the office called to notify us. We showed up only to be met with the same unprofessionalism. Most recently, after my husband’s appo

Over the Christmas and New Year's break, I suffered from chronic pain due to a car accident. My hope was that Barbour Orthopedics would help bring relief and guide my recovery. Instead, I was made to feel like just another number in their system. My first appointment was canceled after an hour-long wait because they did not have my MRI reports—something no one bothered to tell me before I arrived. The same thing happened a second time. Each visit required taking time off work, arranging travel, and enduring pain, only to be met with disorganization and excuses. After finally seeing the doctor, I walked out with my own records in hand, while my wife was told at the front desk that they "don’t get records, only images." The inconsistency and lack of transparency have been shocking. What h

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. If you want to get your bills denied for payment from your insurance company this is the place to go. The clinical care itself was terrible, and the administrative handling of my case was even worse. My treatment felt rushed and disorganized, and the lack of care carried over directly into sloppy, inaccurate medical documentation that has now jeopardized an active insurance claim and left me facing tens of thousands of dollars in disputed medical bills. Barbour Orthopaedics documented factually incorrect information in my medical chart, including referencing a right knee ACL tear that never existed and failing to clearly distinguish between left vs. right knee surgical history. These inaccuracies are now being relied upon by an insurance carrier

I had a terrible experience with this orthopedic office. The staff was rude and dismissive of my pain, and it was nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone. I had one injection done with them and never received any follow-up care. When I began having complications afterward, I left multiple voicemails with no response — even my lawyer reached out with no reply. At my follow-up appointment, the nurse who took me back was extremely unprofessional, questioning whether I was “even really in pain”. The entire experience left me feeling unheard and disrespected. I would never recommend this office to any family, friends, or clients.

After experiencing a car accident about 6 months ago, I underwent various treatments including chiropractic care, decompression therapy, physical therapy, steroid injections, acupuncture, and massage for my shoulder injury. Unfortunately, none of these treatments provided long-term relief. Upon the recommendation of my lawyer, I visited this clinic for the first time. Despite extensive paperwork, the process was smooth. Following a consultation, the doctor recommended Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection for my shoulder tendinitis, which is anticipated to have a longer-lasting positive effect. I am hopeful that this will be the final solution for my arm issues.
