I broke a tooth and had pulp exposed and a wisdom tooth that, while all the way in, was falling to pieces. Not to mention the couple of cavities I had from not visiting a dentist for a few years due to seasonal travel for work. No insurance. To say I was anxious would be an understatement. Although obviously packed with appointments as the nearest dentists office is in Ellsworth, Dr. Reznik understood that i would be moving for work at the end of the season and made a point to get me in somewhere a few weeks later which meant the world me and I was able to hold off the worst of it with temporary filling until then. Besides the initial pinch of the needle, I didn't feel a single thing. Everyone was very reassuring and handled me with complete professionalism and kept me assured the whole

Love her! Everything is so clean and she is very thorough.

1.) as a new patient I had to cancel my first appointment due to illness. Then I get a$50 charge in the mail for cancelling. 2.) they gave me another appointment and said they never did and then actually refused to see me. 3.) she is NOT a full service dentist. So if you need anything other than a cleaning and cavities filled, do not go here. 4.) After my cleaning I needed cavities filled and they gave me an appointment 2 months after they detected them. Then the day before that appointment, they called and told me they didn't want to service me anymore because the dentist she referred me to for work that she didn't do, sent them a treatment plan. This was after that dentist told me that she should fill the cavities. Is this enough as to why not to go to her ?

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Reznik of Bar Harbor Dental Group for fitting me into her schedule during the busy holiday season and for expertly diagnosing and addressing my tooth/bite problem. Knowing that I was heading out of the country soon, she went above and beyond in offering me care within my time constraints. I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Reznik during my visit and listening to her clear explanations of what she was doing each step of the way; Dr. Reznik is a skilled and compassionate dentist who clearly cares about her patients.
