Baptist Health Urgent Care - Westport Road

The ladies at the front desk were all nice. The nurse I saw was ok. But APRN Sara Miller… she doesn’t have an ounce of bedside manner in her! I went in for mastitis, just to be told by her that there’s no red streaks on my boob. She observed my breast from across the poorly lit room and it was on the underside. She basically told me to stop breastfeeding, gave me anecdotal stories about her experience with it, and i had to beg her for antibiotics. She begrudgingly gave them to me but told me to just “push through” the pain and take them only in 3 days if it’s not better. Mind you I was extremely sore, could barely care for my baby, and in immense pain. I obviously started taking them that night, and thank god I did because even with the first dose I woke up the next day and my ENTIRE boo

I fell in the shower and knew I had terribly injured my arm/shoulder. I turned to Baptist Urgent Care Westport Road for help. They determined my arm was Broken and Fractured. I was given a temporary sling, told to take some Tylenol, and they sent me on my way. Now I’m dealing with intolerable pain & undue suffering because I chose to seek care here. We treat animals better than this… Inhumane quite frankly!

The lady who took my vitals was very nice, main practitioner was have a bad day or something and wasn’t very pleasant. Didn’t feel very welcome and felt like an annoyance for being there. She didn’t even smile so it was a bit odd. Then on top of that, she never ordered my prescription so that was another dilemma when I got to my pharmacy. If there are any other problems I will be going somewhere else.

Some of the staff members are very kind. Others are quite rude. The woman who took my vitals while I was in a room was very sweet. The woman at the front desk was very rude and unpleasant, as it seemed as though I interrupted her eating domino’s. Mixed bag.

This is our go-to walk-in clinic if our family needs after hours care. They have a wonderful front desk - very quick and efficient. Our nurse on this last visit, Carol, was an absolute gem! She is kind, empathetic and caring. The doctor was good at listening, no nonsense and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
