Baptist Health Urgent Care | Miami Lakes

I visited the Miami Lakes Urgent Care this morning after experiencing some chest pressure. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the entire team. The front desk staff was exceptionally attentive to every patient’s needs. I’d like to specifically recognize Teresa, my nurse, for her care in managing my medication, and Dr. Roger Alvarez for his expert and professional bedside manner. I highly recommend this facility.

My husband went to Baptist ER and was seen by Christopher Aguila, PA. Unfortunately, this was the worst medical experience we’ve ever had. He never properly introduced himself or explained his role, so we assumed he was a nurse. He did not clearly explain my husband’s condition or the treatment plan. In fact, if he entered the emergency room twice, that was already a lot. His interaction was minimal, dismissive, and very unprofessional. His attitude came across as arrogant and condescending, lacking the professionalism and empathy patients expect in an emergency setting. He diagnosed my husband with a stomach virus and prescribed medication for that, but his symptoms continued and actually worsened after taking the medication. We later went to an outpatient clinic where proper testing was

We had a very positive experience at this clinic. My father came in with high blood pressure, and from the moment we arrived, the staff treated him with care, respect, and professionalism. They took the time to check his vital signs, run the necessary tests, and clearly explain the results to us. The doctor was patient, attentive, and made sure we understood the treatment plan and the medication adjustment. What stood out the most was how calm and reassuring the entire team was during a stressful moment for our family. We truly felt that my father was in good hands. We are very grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of medical attention.

I was extremely pleased with the treatment I received at this facility today . I never expected to be seen so fast and by such a wonderful team . Starting with the front Dedk , the nurse who took my vitals excellent , the radiologist who did my X-rays, the doctor who explained in full detailed my condition. And examined me excellent Professionalism, knowledge , treatment and care from Roger Alvarez Soto, MD , Heather Mosca . Thank you for your great care .

Nurse Dixon was an angel. She was the absolute best and made sure I was comfortable. I was lucky enough to have her as a nurse and am very grateful for her compassion. The whole staff is very caring and knowledgeable. No matter what’s wrong with me, I drive from Miramar just to come here because I know they’ll treat me kindly and get me fixed up to the best they can. I’d also like to thank Dr. Roger for doing my stitches for the second time (but hopefully not a third) and for how professional he is. Thank you to the whole team for taking care of me no matter what it is. Cathy was also very very sweet and even wheeled me out and made sure I was ok. I’ll always come here over any other urgent care and recommend it to everyone I know :) 🤍
