I have been going to the emergency room way too much lately. Over the last 18 months I've been here for pneumonia, AFib, heart attack, and what appeared to be a stroke (thankfully something else). The fact that I am still alive is a testament to the competence, care and compassion of the staff and doctors. The facility is new, it's fully equipped, and seldom busy. Each time, I was treated with compassion and my care was given the urgency it required. The nurses are awesome, and the two doctors that I remember seeing, Dr Hamblin and Dr Andes, are competent skilled physicians, with the latter having the best bedside manner I have seen in a long time. Nobody likes going to the emergency room, but the staff and physicians here are the spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down. Bravo.

After surviving an aortic dissection (Widowmaker) on May 29, 2025 I experienced some "minor" chest discomfort on Sep 9th. VA Nurse Hotline directed I be taken to the nearest ER. Upon arrival I was triaged immediately. I received blood labs, an ECG, X-ray and CT all performed by very courteous and professional nurses & doctors with a sense of calm urgency. Although my situation may have been unique I commend the entire emergency department staff. THANK YOU! ♥️

I came in on 2/14 with pneumonia, Dr. Andrew J and the nurses took care of me quickly, kindly, and answered all my questions. Great bedside manner, thank you to the ER team.

The doctor in the E.R. named Eric was just an unbelievable GREAT GREAT dr. There should be many more like him. Since we had him for a doctor it was a great experience Thankyou Doc.

Went to ER for severe shoulder pain. Dr Winter said I was not an emergency. I thought they could do a CT Scan or something but all she did was prescribe a muscle relaxant and discharged me. A real joke! I paid $140 for nothing! Came home in severe pain.
